The aim of this project is the manteinance and the development of new capabilities of the system for analysis of power system contrainsts ARO. ARO has been jointly developed by Indra and IIT for Red Eléctrica de España. ARO not only identifies the system constraints and proposes actions to alleviate them, but it also incorporates an Optimal Power Flow that determines the set points for the voltage control system. The maintenance includes both the corrective maintenance and the evolutive maintenance. New developments will the contruction of long term scenarios and the generalization and modularization of the code to support any power system.

• *Steady-state: load flows, analysis of power system constraints, optimal load flows, voltage control ancilliary service,short-circuits, protections in transmission and ditribution networks
