Italian electricity market has started in April, 2004. The objective of this project is to adapt state-of-the-art market models in order to represent the medium-term operation of a market with some particular features. These characteristics come from the particular geography of this country, where the network consists of a main north-south axis. The model should include this feature. This project follows a previous one where problem analysis was performed. Now the model will be implemented and checked.
