MPO is an economic and operation generation planning tool for the medium term. In this project several developments of the MPO tool will be undertaken. These developments are oriented towards:
1. The negotiation in the Iberian electricity market in the different possible configurations and the analyses of the consequences of the different operation modes
2. The modelling of the emissions and the achievement of the national assignment plan and the analysis of the possible impact in the current operation of the system.
3. The maintenance of the decision support tool used in the preparation of the annual budget and operation planning.
