This project embraces several power system studies: the impact of a new gas turbine in the Lanzarote- Fuerteventura system, the impact of wind power generation in the Lanzarote-Fuerteventura system, the impact of a new gas turbine in the Mallorca-Menorca system and the impact of the connection of the Tarragona combined cycle power station to the Spanish power system and the feasibility of supplying the Dow Chemical complex. Each study comprises four activities: (1) steady-state modeling, (2) steady-state analysis (load flow and short circuit), (3) dynamic modeling and (4) time domain simulation
