The project consists of an in-depth research on IDIS, DLMS/COSEM, for prepayment purposes in the electricity sector in Uganda, overview of the main challenges Minsait and UMEME face when implementing the solution and a cybersecurity overview and enhancement proposal. IDIS use cases are simulated using Matlab, to show what tests the new and existing meters should be able to pass.
