STARNET is a production model including a network representation for spot-price computing. The feasibility of adapting it for the Dominican Republic system was shown in a previous project. The objective of the project is to perform this adaptation and to prepare the model to be used in the real system dispatch. There are structural changes are needed in order to represent particular details of this system. The project includes the preparation of reference cases and a course introducing the model and marginalist theory.
