Funding entity Cátedra Iberdrola
The project proposes a methodology to determine the short-term operation reserve requirements in a power system in order to properly face the short term uncertainties in the behaviour of the demand, the conventional generation, and renewable generation. The methodology applied is specially devoted to deal with power systems with high penetration of renewable energies.
The project (associated to a PhD Thesis) has been partially supported by Iberdrola in the context of the Iberdrola Chair in Energy and Innovation.
