The main objective of this course is that Global 3 staff gain an insigth into the basic concepts related to Global 3 operation in AGC. The contents fo the course are:
- AGC main principles and UCTE rules
- RCP main principles
- AGC-IIT regulator
- Fast start of a gas turbine
- Steam turbine control

Research topics:
• *Automatic Generation Control: design and tuning of AGC regulators, identification of power plant models, primary and secondary regulation ancilliary services,
