Axpo Iberia has a proprietary AGC system developed in 2012. In this project, a complete verification of this AGC system is carried out, checking that it complies with the response requirements in the Spanish power system and that its operation is economically optimal. Moreover, the expected behavior of the regulation zone with cogeneration and wind generation is analyzed. Finally, this project includes the collaboration in the zone validation test with REE and in the initial operation in the secondary frequency control in the Spanish power system.
